Alexander Siloti (a.k.a. Ziloti) (1863-1945) was a piano performer, conductor, and music teacher. He performed in Europe and the United States, as well as conducting orchestras in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In addition, Siloti taught piano lessons at the Moscow Conservatory, was a member of the faculty at the Juilliard School, and was known for his transcriptions, arrangements, and editions of various pieces.
