Built upon the book and archival collections created by Marjorie Merriweather Post, the Archives & Special Collections department works to sustain and develop these important collections of original and secondary materials related to Russian and Western European decorative arts and the life, times, activities, and achievements of founder Marjorie Merriweather Post, her family, her legacy, and the work of the museum she so generously bequeathed to the public. The Archives & Special Collections department encompasses the Hillwood Archives and the Special Collections Library. Additionally, the department manages image requests from external individuals and organizations. Jason Speck is the Head of Archives and Special Collections.
