Biltmore’s archival team works to catalog, manage and preserve Biltmore Estate’s historical records, including drawings, photographs, books, manuscripts and oral histories. Their collection include rare letters collected by George Vanderbilt. Of note is a letter in Old Russian signed by Catherine the Great and a 1799 note about a soldier's pension from Napoleon.
