• The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library was created to preserve materials pertaining to Lyndon Baines Johnson and his administration. Included in the library's holdings are the personal papers of more than 200 individuals and more than 400 oral histories. Among these holdings Russian-related materials have thus far been identified in the White House Files of the Johnson Administration, 9,500 ft., 1963–69. These files contain the following materials pertaining to Russia/USSR:

  Additional Russian-related materials are scattered throughout the White House files, but the location and nature of this material can best be discussed with the researcher upon his arrival at the Library.
