Notes

The Museum has an extensive clippings collection on a variety of subjects; photograph albums; and much additional manuscript material, particularly pertaining to the Civil War and the emigration in Siberia and the Far East.

Founded in 1948, this museum of ethnic, history holds, besides a 6,000-volume library, substantial archival materials on Russian history and emigration. At present it publishes an occasional Sbornik Muzeia Russkoi Kul'tury and a bulletin. The museum and archives are open, without charge, on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons only (except holidays).
