  Kohlossian: Matthew plus the Decalogue. Ca. 1860. Copybook, paper, 92 ff. + 2 pp. Translation by Ivan Nadezhdin, in Alaska, with space left for Church Slavonic parallel text but only the first verse in each chapter entered. Note: This is the language of the Tlingit tribes, whom Russians call Koloshi or Kaliuzhi. (No. 18020)

• In the Society's files is a folder of correspondence relating to the distribution of bibles in Russia, 1816–70. One of the letters is from Alexander Tourgueneff (Turgenev) to Elias Boudinot, first president of the ABS, 21 August 1816, in French. Also, a small collection of printed annual reports, most in German, of Bible Societies in Russia. These comprise: "The Russian Bible Society, 1814–21"; "Evangelical Bible Society in Russia, 1848–1902" (incomplete); "EBS in Russia, Estonian Section, 1858–84" (incomplete); "EBS in Russia, Riga Section, 1860 and 1879"; "EBS, St. Petersburg Section, 1878"; and "The Society for the Distribution of the Holy Scriptures in Russia, 1878–1901" (incomplete). (The Historical Bible Collection includes a number of Russian Bibles, i.e., published works.)
