Arthur L. and Harry O. Palmer
Papers, 1873–1961, ca. 5.5 ft. Harry O. Palmer (1886–1951) was a lawyer, army major, and judge advocate of the American Expeditionary Forces to Siberia and China, 1918–21. Henry J. Amen (1876-1975)
Collection, 1904–48, 8 items on 1 microfilm reel. Merchant, grocer, steamship ticket agent, insurance salesman, and informal banker for the German-American community in Lincoln. Includes account books with the names and travel itineraries of Russian-German immigrants to the U.S. and other relevant information. John Milton Thayer (1820-1906)
Papers, 1886–92, ca. 5.5 ft. Governor of Nebraska. Among the papers are letters outlining a plan to send supplies to aid suffering Russians in the famine of 1891. Unpublished finding aid. 8 Karlis August Ulmanis (1877–1940?). Latvian president and an exile in the U.S. In this country he worked in agriculture at the University of Nebraska. Lincoln, Nebraska. First German Congregational Church.
Records, 1889–1919, 2 vols. on 1 microfilm reel. Organized in 1876, the church was composed of Russian-Germans who had migrated to Lincoln from the Volga region of Russia. The volumes are church registers. Several unpublished finding aids (NUCMC 76–3430).
Nebraska Breuder Konferenz
Records, 1887–1974, 7 vols. on 1 microfilm reel. The Konferenz, founded in 1887, is a prayerdiscussion group of Russian-Germans in Nebraska. Designed to provide fellowship, protection, and social stability, it is modeled after organizations the Volga Germans developed while still in Russia. Programs, executive committee minutes, and printed histories of the group. Unpublished finding aids (NUCMC 76–434).

Sutton, Nebraska. Emmanuel Reformed Church.
Church registers, 1874–1946, 2 vols. on 1 microfilm reel. Congregation of Germans who emigrated from Russia in the late 1860s. They began to hold church services and established the German Reformed Church under the Reverend William Bonekeeper, son of a Reformed minister in Russia. Organized on 20 February 1877, the church later changed its name as above. Descriptive inventory, general description, and volume listing, all unpublished. (NUCMC 76–319)
Thomas Frederick Arthur Williams (1871-1969)
Papers, 1861–1964, 8 ft., ca. 3,000 items. Lawyer, husband of the preceding. Includes information on the migration of Germans in Russia and the U.S. (presumably gathered by his wife Hattie), 1913–14; research notes; and a census of the Russian-German population of Lincoln, 1914–15. William F. Urbach (1888-1972)
