Florence Nightingale (1820-1910)
Papers, 1856–97, 150 items. Nurse. Includes letter by Nightingale from Crimea, 1856, with information on conditions there during the Crimean War.
Henry Pickering Bowditch (1840-1911)
Papers, 1863–1911, several thousand items. Physiologist. A typed letter, 1906, to Bowditch from H. W. van Loon, in St. Petersburg, describes the European and Russian political situation.
Hugh Stalker (b. 1893)
Papers, 1920–70, ca. 550 items. Doctor. Includes a 1923 ALS from Ivan Petrovich Pavlov to Stalker that discusses the state of Russian medicine, and a 1938 letter from Vasilii Nikolaevich Boldyreff to Stalker concerning Pavlov. There are also photographs of Boldyreff.
