The Archives contain a small amount of materials pertaining to the immigration and settlement of Volga-Germans in the Great Plains area of the U.S. during the second half of the 19th c. There are also several letters written by the archbishop of Sweden, Nathan Soderblom, at the end of World War I, expressing concern for the fate of Lutherans in Russia. Access is at the discretion of the curator, but serious scholars are normally welcomed.
