The National Translations Center has records of over 800,000 existing translations from some 40 languages, many of which are available directly from the Center's own collections. Translations of journal articles, conference papers, monographs, reports, and patents from all fields of theoretical and applied science, including medicine, are represented in the National Translations Center catalogue. Around 40% of these translations, many of which have not been published, are from Russian/Soviet sources. Translations Register-Index, published by the Center, serves as a finding aid to translations held in the Center's collection, as well as to those available from other sources.
