The library has several thousand photographs of trees and plant specimens in Russia at the turn of the century up to the 1930s. The photos were taken by U.S. Department of Agriculture plant explorers, particularly Mr. Frank Meyer, 1906–17, and Messrs. Westover and Enlow, 1930s. Staff requests advance notice from those wishing to use the collection.
